What to Sell on Amazon in November 2026: 12 Proven wedding picks

Knowing what to sell on Amazon in November can decide how your whole year ends. Diwali falls on 8 November this year, so the festival itself is almost here. But the weeks after it still hold two strong windows: wedding season and winter.
I’m Ishika, an Amazon agency owner. Over the last 6 years I have run Amazon advertising for 350+ brands across India, the US, UK and Dubai. I started by selling my own products and learned from my own mistakes: wrong products, bad timing and money stuck in stock.
That experience taught me one thing. Most sellers do not fail because Amazon is hard. They fail because they pick the wrong product at the wrong time. This article is built to help you avoid that.
The November Calendar Decides What You Can Sell
Dates below are for 2026 in India. Festival dates can shift by a day depending on the panchang.
| Date | What happens |
|---|---|
| 6 Nov | Dhanteras |
| 8 Nov | Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) |
| 11 Nov | Bhai Dooj |
| 20 Nov | Dev Uthani Ekadashi: wedding season starts |
| Mid Dec | Kharmas begins, weddings pause until 15 Jan 2027 |
| 25 Dec, 1 Jan | Christmas and New Year |
The real talk: if you do not already hold stock, Diwali is too late to chase. Rushed sourcing leads to poor quality and unsold stock after the festival.
A better question is this: what can I get live and delivering before the next window?
The Three Windows After Diwali
- Bhai Dooj gifting (up to 11 Nov): Only if you already hold stock and can ship fast.
- Wedding season (20 Nov to about mid December): Roughly 25 days, so products must be live on Amazon by mid November.
- Winter and year-end (now to February): The longest window, helped by Christmas, New Year and gifting.
Lead Times, Honestly
Ready stock from a wholesaler takes about 3 to 7 days to inspect, pack and send to Amazon. That is realistic for November. Small changes like your own packaging or a label take 1 to 2 weeks.
Made-to-order or customised products take 2 to 5 weeks or more, which is too slow for this wedding season. Anything needing a licence or BIS certificate can take weeks to months, so leave it for later.
What the Numbers Say
These figures come from public reports and trade bodies, so treat them as estimates and check the originals before quoting them.
- Diwali trade (2025): A traders’ body study reported Rs 6.05 lakh crore in total trade. Gifts made up 7% and home decor 5%, and 87% of buyers preferred Indian-made products.
- Wedding season (2025): About 46 lakh weddings and Rs 6.5 lakh crore of business. Among goods, jewellery was 15% and apparel and sarees 10%.
- Festive online retail forecast: An industry forecast projected 25% growth this festive season, against 16% last year. Beauty, home and fashion all looked strong.
- Small appliances: Online air fryer sales rose 103% year on year in August 2026, and espresso machines rose 176%.
- Imitation jewellery: The market is projected to grow from USD 5.87 billion in 2026 to USD 9.73 billion by 2032, helped by record gold prices.
Growth is coming from categories beyond electronics. Home, beauty, fashion and accessories all matter.
12 Picks on What to Sell on Amazon in November
Effort and compliance ratings below are my own assessment based on the rules and timing above. A growing category does not mean your product will sell, so validate every idea yourself.
Wedding Season Picks
1. Wedding jewellery sets (imitation). Jewellery is the biggest goods spend at weddings. Sell sets by outfit colour, with necklace, earrings and tikka in one listing. Use real daylight photos and never call imitation jewellery gold or silver.
2. Potli bags and clutches. Accessories sell alongside outfits. Pair them by outfit shade and sell in sets of 2 or 3. Start with bags, not footwear, because sizing causes returns.
3. Wedding return gifts (non-food). Hosts buy in bulk. Sell packs of 25, 50 and 100 with a bulk price. Offer ready packs now and customisation later.
4. Dry fruit and sweet gift boxes. Demand is real, but this is a food business and FSSAI rules apply. Skip it unless you are already licensed.
Winter Picks
5. Thermals, socks, gloves and caps. Winter demand repeats every year. Use size charts that fit Indian bodies and sell bundles. Make sure fabric claims match the label.
6. Hot water bags and heat packs (non-electric). Easy to start with soft covers and a clear safety guide. Electric versions need BIS certification, so avoid them for now.
7. Blankets and quilts. Home and furniture is forecast to grow strongly this season. Bulky items attract higher fees, so work out your margin using the exact size and weight slab.
8. Pet winter wear. Evidence here is thin. Size by breed and chest measurement, and verify search demand before ordering.
9. Heel and foot-care accessories. Silicone heel socks and caps are accessories, not cosmetics. Skip creams and lotions, which need a licensed manufacturer. Test with a small batch.
All-Season Picks
10. Air fryer accessories. The machines are dominated by big brands, with the top three holding about 70% of online sales. The opportunity is in size-specific liners, silicone baskets, racks and oil sprayers. Put the size in the title and use food-grade materials.
11. Coffee and espresso accessories. Tampers, milk jugs, knock boxes, scales and cleaning kits fit this category. Machines use different portafilter sizes, so list exactly which models your product fits.
12. Wildcard: 2027 planners and diaries. There is no sourced data here, only my judgement about year-end gifting. Choose a niche planner for a specific profession, not a generic diary, and order small.
If I had to choose two to start this week, I would pick air fryer accessories and thermals or winter accessories. Both are easy, and stock is simple to find.
What I Would Not Start Now
These are not bad businesses, but they are wrong for a new seller in the time left.
- Diwali decor and lights: The festival is almost here, and decorative lighting may need BIS certification.
- Room heaters, geysers and immersion rods: Certification is often needed, and established brands dominate.
- Air fryers and coffee machines themselves: Sell accessories instead.
- Skincare, body lotions and lip balm: These need a licensed manufacturer and the right licence route.
- Dry fruit hampers without a licence: FSSAI rules apply.
- Anything made to order: It will miss the wedding window.
The 15-Minute Product Test
Search volume and rankings change daily, so run these five checks yourself before buying stock.
- Last year’s pattern: Look at the last 2 or 3 years of search interest. If demand rises in the same window every year, it is a pattern, not a fluke.
- Who owns the first page: If one or two big brands hold most top results, pick a niche version.
- Read the bad reviews: The 1 to 3 star reviews list the problems your product can solve.
- Check the rules: If it needs FSSAI, BIS, a cosmetic licence or category approval you do not have, move on.
- Do the maths: Compare your supplier’s quote with the price you can afford to pay.
The Price You Can Afford to Pay
Here is the formula:
Maximum buy price = selling price without GST × (1 − Amazon fees, ads, returns and your desired profit) − packaging − freight
Every number below is assumed, only to show the method. Use your own.
- Selling price without GST: Rs 500
- Amazon fees 25%, ad spend 12%, returns 4%, desired profit 15%
- Left for the product: 44% of Rs 500 = Rs 220
- Packaging Rs 15 and freight Rs 10
- Maximum buy price: Rs 195
If your supplier quotes more than that, change the product or the price.
Your Next 10 Days
- Days 1 to 2: Pick two products and run the five checks. Drop any that fail.
- Days 3 to 4: Get quotes and samples from ready-stock suppliers. Ask for GST and licence details.
- Days 5 to 6: Check labels and rules, then write a clear listing with real photos and size charts.
- Days 7 to 8: Send a small batch to Amazon and start modest ad spend on keywords you have checked.
- Days 9 to 10: Watch search terms, returns and reviews daily. Reorder only after the first sales.
A small first batch is not timid, it is smart. The sellers who lose money in November are usually the ones who ordered big, too late.

FAQs
1. What should I sell on Amazon in November?
Ready-stock products with easy compliance work best. Good options include air fryer accessories, thermals and winter accessories, imitation wedding jewellery and potli bags.
2. Is it too late to sell Diwali products?
Yes, for new sourcing. Diwali is on 8 November, so rushed products may miss the festival and leave you with unsold stock.
3. When does wedding season start in 2026?
It starts on 20 November with Dev Uthani Ekadashi. The busiest dates run from late November to the first half of December, before Kharmas begins in mid December.
4. Which products are easiest to start with?
Thermals, socks, gloves and caps, non-electric hot water bags, and air fryer accessories are easy to source and need no special licence.
5. Which products should new sellers avoid right now?
Avoid heaters, skincare, unlicensed dry fruit hampers, made-to-order items and Diwali decor. They need certifications or take too long.
6. How do I know if a product will be profitable?
Use the maximum buy price formula. Subtract Amazon fees, ads, returns, your desired profit, packaging and freight from the selling price. If your supplier’s quote is higher, the product does not work.
7. How much stock should I order first?
Start small. A small first batch lets you test sales, returns and reviews, and you can reorder once the product proves itself.
8. How can I get the trending products list?
Comment “Trending Products” on my reel, and I will share the list in your DMs.
